The company CONSULNIMA and the researchers of the project ESMIMET of CARTIF, meet to design a collaboration action between the consultant of integral management of the environment and the project. This collaboration is based on the development of R&D&i activities related to environmental and energy techniques.

From this point of view, the ESMIMET project aims to identify 100% of the exploitation and processing techniques used in metal mining and reduce its environmental impact by half. In addition, the project consortium works on the development of a specific environmental management system for the sector, which allows the substitution of 80% of fossil energy sources by renewable sources.

The meeting took place at the CONSULNIMA facilities in Madrid, together with its General Director, Gonzalo Guillán, and the project manager, Íñigo de Vicente.
